We spend a lot of life saying “someday.”

Someday I’ll take the trip.

Someday I’ll start the thing.

Someday I’ll call that friend.

Someday I’ll slow down.

Someday I’ll stop worrying about what everybody thinks.

Then experience teaches you something:

Someday isn’t promised.

There comes a point when you stop measuring your life by how much you’ve accumulated…

…and start measuring it by how much you’ve actually lived.

Use the good glasses.

Take the long way home.

Buy the concert tickets.

Call your people.

Play the music too loud.

Wear what makes you feel like yourself.

Make the memory.

Say what needs to be said.
