🐾 This is what pet therapy looks like. ❤️
Nala and Bryan are so proud to be an Ambassador Team for WAGS Pet Therapy. Over the course of a week, they visit a hospital and two schools, bringing smiles, comfort, laughter and sometimes simply a quiet moment of companionship to those who need it.
But last week at the Brown Cancer Center was extra special.
One of the chemo patients actually schedules her treatments around the days she knows Nala will be visiting. 🥹 And this time, she brought a toy for Nala.
Well… Nala LOVED it! 😂 She squeaked that toy all the way down the halls, bringing belly laughs from patients and staff along the way.
Think about that for a moment. In the middle of chemo treatments, worry and difficult days, a big fluffy dog with a squeaky toy changed the energy in those hallways. ❤️
That’s the power of pet therapy.
It’s more than a visit.
It’s comfort. It’s connection. It’s joy. It’s a reason to smile on a day when smiling might not come so easily.
I’m incredibly proud of Bryan and Nala and the difference they make together. 🐾❤️
Tomorrow is Give for Good, and we would be so grateful if you would help Nala support WAGS Pet Therapy so more teams can bring moments like these to our community.
Because sometimes healing comes with four paws…and a very squeaky toy. 🐾😂❤️
