In my free time I have been trying to record my projects. I finally figured out a way, without having to spend money (yet). This is my cast on for socks. (If you listen real close, my teenager is singing loudly in the shower from way down the hall🤣)

I went to my Local yarn shop yesterday and to buy new needles but I looked at buying yarn. The one hank/skein I wanted was $30. I really need to open up my own shop and source out affordable/quality yarn. Because quality yarn doesn’t come come Joann Fabrics, Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. But that is where hobbyists like me shop because it’s affordable. But there is an entire new world of better fiber to explore.

I learned a lot about myself as I worked on this pair. I challenged myself to work faster and it helped. I’m using the same pattern for my next pair but I’m swapping the heel for a Short row heel.
