In five decades, I've learned that faith is the source of peace.
I want to tell you that there is a place for you. It's not like anything I have ever seen.
It's not perfect but it's perfectly made for you.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]
You may see me tote this around. I currently am building a dream around it.
It says that when you give your life to Jesus you are a New Creature 🙂 (Creation) dependent upon translation, but the AMP version is my fav because it lines out the words and explains it.
I have tried to fulfill my sanity and happiness in so many other things and you know what i find ?
Emptiness ... A need for more!
No matter what I have...just trying to fill in something that cannot be filled by anything i've tried.
Why is that ?
Raised in a good home.
Struggled like most in many different areas growing up, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Never went without !
What i can reflect back to, because you know i need to analyze it, is that every season I course correct to him is victorious in my life.
Everytime time i followed Jesus I am happy.
Everytime I am in community with my church family I am rejuvenated.
Everytime I read the word of God I felt aligned.
Everytime i thought of someone else before myself I was filled.
I just hope my experience can help someone else.
I hope maybe you want to chat about it sometime with me.
I know new things can be challenging. We are creature of habits.
But if you feel the same, just take a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Selflessness = Alignment for me.
Weakness allows my God to show out.
Because my strength lies in him.
I am 50 and they say when your years in front of you are less than the ones behind you, you view life differently.
I am sure I will still stumble. But i'll stumble focused on him. He has never failed me.
So this song has been carrying me lately.
