🎉 **BIG TCG NEWS AT GEMS & GAMES!** 🎉

It's official! Gems & Games is now approved for Organized Play with all four of our major TCG communities:

🎴 Pokémon
🎴 Magic: The Gathering
🎴 One Piece Card Game
🎴 Disney Lorcana

We've been working toward this for a LONG time, and we're incredibly excited about what this means for future organized events, tournaments, prereleases, and our growing local TCG community.

And what better way to celebrate than to start playing?

🎴 **TCG TUESDAYS BEGIN SEPTEMBER 22ND!** 🎴

Every Tuesday, our tables will be open for **FREE, casual open play for ALL TCGs and all experience levels.**

Bring whatever you play, whether we currently carry it or not. If you play more than one TCG, bring a couple of decks! You might find a new opponent, introduce someone to your favorite game, or discover something completely new yourself.

New player? Come learn.
Experienced player? Come play and share what you know.
Don't have anyone to play with yet? That's exactly why we're doing this.

We currently have **16 playable seats**, so if you want to make sure there's a chair waiting for you, **reserve your FREE spot through the Events page at gems-and-games.com.**

Walk-ins are absolutely welcome too! If the tables are full, spectators are welcome to hang out, watch some games, meet other players, and swap in as seats become available.

We want to give a heartfelt thanks to the organizers the NW WA Fair and especially to everyone who visited our booth or in store.

We are going to be closed the next few days for restocking, reorganization, and most importantly, recuperating. We will reopen on Friday, August 28th and resume normal store hours.

Finally, we are working on some new things so keep following for news and announcements.

Gems & Games is headed to Hillsboro! 🎉

This weekend, we're taking Gems & Games on the road!

Tabby and I will be heading south for the West Van Card Show at the Wingspan Event & Conference Center in Hillsboro, Oregon, Saturday and Sunday, August 8–9!

This is a BIG one: more than 300 vendors and 24,000+ square feet of sports cards, TCGs and pop-culture collectibles, all under one roof.

⏰ 12 PM–5 PM both days
📍 Wingspan Event & Conference Center
801 NE 34th Ave, Hillsboro, OR

Meanwhile, back at Gems & Games...

Mikey will be holding down the fort on Saturday, so the shop will be OPEN during our regular Saturday hours!

A good chunk of our TCG inventory will be traveling to Hillsboro with us, so the card shelves may look a little barren. 😅 Mikey also won't be able to review individual cards for trades or purchases on Saturday.

But the rest of Gems & Games isn't going anywhere! Board games, dice, jewelry, 3D prints, collectibles and all the other goodies will still be there, and we hope you'll stop in and say hi!

As always, Gems & Games will be CLOSED Sunday.

We certainly don't expect our Whatcom County friends to make a special trip all the way to Hillsboro just to come see us. 😂 But if you happen to be in the Portland/Hillsboro area this weekend, come find us!

The Pokéball Character Collection is growing! 🎉

It’s been a little while since we introduced Mimikyu as the first character in our new Pokéball Character Collection, and we have a LOT of catching up to do!

Since then, our printers have been busy bringing more characters to life. Charmander, Poliwag, Pikachu, Gengar, Chandelure, Gyarados and Vulpix have all joined the lineup, with even more on the way.

So, who's next? 👀

🦊 Eevee is in production NOW!
🌿 Sprigatito is next in the print queue!

And to the person who asked for Magnemite on our original Mimikyu post...

⚡ We heard you! Magnemite is officially in the queue and coming soon!

Each Pokéball character is printed and assembled in small batches, and our printers already have a growing queue. Quantities are limited, and once a character sells out, it may take some time before we can restock it.

👻✨ A new collectible line is arriving at Gems & Games… ✨👻

Our first release has officially escaped the printer:

**MIMIKYU!** 💛🖤

We’re beginning a brand-new collection of fan-inspired **3D printed Pokéball creature collectibles**, and Mimikyu is the very first to join the lineup. Each piece is carefully printed in multiple colors and hand-assembled detail by detail right here at Gems & Games.

And honestly?

We were blown away by how adorable this little ghost goblin turned out. 😭

This is just the beginning — more Pokémon-inspired designs are already printing (and yes… Vulpix is currently on the printer 👀🔥).

🎉 Pokémon Chaos Rising releases this Friday, 5/22/26! 🎉

We DO have booster packs, plus very limited quantities of other sealed product available at release.

Because quantities are extremely limited, and we want to help get cards into the hands of collectors, players, and our local community, we will be limiting purchases to:

✨ 2 booster packs per purchase
OR
✨ 1 sealed product per purchase (ETB, Booster Bundle, Blister, etc.)

As always, quantities are first come, first served while supplies last. No holds or reserves.

We are at the Westvancardshow Lynnwood Event Center and did a break on a Mega Evolutions ETB. Pulled the GOLD Mega Lucario Ex!!
