These encounters are not random, but part of a process of soul evolution or “synchronicity”—events where inner needs meet outer reality.
Key aspects of this philosophy include:
The Mirror Principle: People—whether loved, feared, or hated—reflect aspects of oneself that are unseen, particularly unhealed wounds or shadow traits.
Purposeful Encounters: These individuals are “assignments” sent to make the unconscious conscious, fostering, growth rather than merely providing comfort.
Types of “Messengers”: People may enter as guides, teachers, or destroyers to break down old, false, or limited identities.
Synchronicity: Jung suggested these connections are not mere coincidences, but rather significant, meaningful occurrences (synchronicity) where the external world matches an internal psychological need.
Temporary Nature: Not all connections are meant to last; many are temporary, similar to “cherries blossoms,” teaching lessons before moving on.
