Happy LYS Day!!!

Today, Saturday, April 25th is a national day of appreciation for local yarn shops. It's the perfect day to visit your LYS and extend your gratitude for all of the amazing lessons they provide, the beautiful displays they knit and crochet, and the gorgeous yarns they stock. Many shops are also hosting trunk shows today, or offering specials for free patterns or discounts on yarn.

If you don't have an LYS, there are a lot of amazing shops that also have vibrant online communities - including digital socials and classes. It may take a little investigating to find the right shop for you, but it's worth the effort.

I wanted to highlight these 6 amazing shops (5 are in the greater Seattle area, and 1 is in Whitefish, MT).

New Product Alert!

I've recently added "Snappers" to my website. If you enjoy knitting with Double Pointed Needles (DNPs) you've probably seen cases like these before.

They are so handy - protecting your needles and keeping stitches from falling off the ends of works in progress!

Snappers are suitable for DPNs that range in length from 7-8", while the Sock Snappers are for DPNs of 4-6" in length. Be sure to look at the sizes listed on my website before ordering to ensure you get the ones that best fit your needles.

Snappers have either 100% quilting cotton and interfacing or cotton canvas exteriors. They all have 100% cotton linings. Snaps are plastic, easy to use, and very durable. Snappers will come in all sorts of fabric designs, and you'll likely be able to snag a snapper that matches most new project bag releases.
