Thank you so much to everyone who attended my class today and to Dayna for being such a lovely host . It’s nice to be back teaching again. I hope everyone who attended my class today had a good time. Everyone was so wonderful. I forgot to take pictures while I was there. LOL. But I got one on the way out. 🧶🌈

Join Elysa of 222 Handspun for a beginning art yarn spinning workshop! She will cover different fiber preparation methods, plus introduce some spinning techniques such as corespinning, autowrapping, tailspinning and add-ins for creating one of a kind yarns!

Some wheel spinning experience preferred (if you have taken our Beginning Spinning Intensive or feel comfortable making yarn on a wheel this class is a great next step!).

Bring some fiber and embellishments you’d like to spin (2-4 oz). Some fiber will be provided and also for sale during class.

It’s official! I’ve moved back to RI. I’m sad to say goodbye to all my mid-Atlantic friends and customers but I’ll come visit I promise! Now I will have some space to work, I’ll have an open house or something when the weather gets nice. I hope to meet up with some local folks soon!

I washed this beautiful angora (mohair) fleece I got at a couple weeks ago. It’s one of those fleeces that is just so beautiful it sings. What a great buy. It’s clean (almost no VM) and baby soft. The most interesting part is the unique color that is darker on the tips. So unusual!
