One of the hardest truths in relationships is realizing that love alone is not always enough. You can love someone deeply, invest years of your life, make sacrifices, and still not receive the love, commitment, or respect you deserve in return.

Many people stay because of their feelings. They hold on to potential, memories, and the hope that one day things will change. But a relationship cannot survive on one person's love alone. It takes two people choosing each other every day.
