Life is changing at CynthiaSews. Our founder (my mother), Cynthia Baker is retiring from attending re-enactments due to ongoing health issues. This is leading to some changes in how we’ll be operating. Our stock at re-enactments will be smaller and concentrating on the Millinery aspect of our business. So we’ll have bonnets, hats, jewelry, accoutrements for men, women and children, but no clothing. I will still offer custom sewing of period garments as they are ordered.
CynthiaSews Millinery will be attending the Civil War Weekend at HarBer Village April 22-25, 2022. HarBer Village is located on the shore of the Gran Lake of the Cherokees in Grove, Oklahoma.
