It's been a rough night. Elisha did fall while going into the house through the patio door. It happened so fast, we dont even know how it happened. Called 911 around 9pm. We couldn't move her ourselves and I'm really glad we didn't try. You could see her leg was broke. Once we got to Thedaclark and xrays were done. They made the decision to send a transport up from Milwaukee to take us to Children's. This pic is us upon arrival 4:30am. We are waiting for the orthopedic team to meet with us now. Hoping they will get her into surgery soon. I saw the xrays and she fractured/broke her right leg in multiple places. They are controlling the pain with meds and she's pretty sleepy now.
Osteogenisis Imperfecta is so hard to understand. My mind can not comprehend how her injury is so bad.
