THIS IS TYLER | He found out he had colore**al cancer when he was only 39 years old - AGE 39!

“When a doctor checked me out, he found a tumor almost entirely blocking my colon. What followed has been life-changing — for me and everyone around me.”

When you’re in that high-pressure work mode, you’re not in tune with your body. When I finally caught my breath, I realized I’d been too busy to address the pain in my gut or note that I hadn’t gone to the bathroom in a week.

Tyler will be sharing his full story at Inside Anne’s Closet on Thursday, May 7, and hope’s you’ll be there to hear it, share it and change the direction of awareness.

Your support will advance prevention, patient care, and innovative science — patients like Tyler need when facing the unthinkable.

Inside Anne’s Closet is an evening about CHANGE, AWARENESS and ADVANCING TREATMENT. An evening to come together and support the Colore**al Cancer Alliance’s mission to end colore**al cancer, today!

Join Tyler, and the entire community as we come together to end **alcancer today!

Why we do what we do here at in partnership with the **alcanceralliance - we do not want to receive news like this! **alcancer

Recent reporting has highlighted re**al cancer as an underlying cause in the death of beloved actress Catherine O’Hara. These details are an important reminder of how serious re**al cancer can be, and how often it goes undetected until it’s advanced.

Through Project Cure CRC, the Alliance is mobilizing a national effort to accelerate innovative treatments and care, improve outcomes, and ultimately end colore**al cancer. We honor Catherine O’Hara’s legacy by turning this moment into action.

More Young People Than Ever Will Get Colore**al Cancer This
Year | Colon and re**al cancers are increasing among people younger than 50. Experts have a few ideas about why.

It’s unfortunately becoming a bigger problem every year,” said Dr. Michael Cecchini, a co-director of the colore**al program in the Center for Gastrointestinal Cancers and a medical oncologist at Yale Cancer Center. He added that early-onset colore**al cancers have been increasing by about 2 percent per year since the mid-1990s. This increase has moved colore**al cancer up to being the top cause of cancer deaths in men under the age of 50 and the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in women under 50 in the United States.“
