We spend a lot of time teaching our children how to respond. Sometimes Scripture asks us to examine our own response first.
James doesn't tell us to have the perfect answer. He gives us a posture: quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
That changes the conversation before we ever get to the words.
Because our children aren't the only ones being formed.
Faith has to be practiced by us before it can be practiced through us.
👇 Save this for the conversation that doesn't go the way you expected. Share it with a parent who is trying to lead with faith when emotions run high.
