Zemen Clothing Fashionably Conscious African Clothing. Zemen Clothing’s story begins in 2011 along the warm beaches in Miami, Florida. The main fabric used is the "Netela."

It was here when Zemen was implemented after a lack of edgy fashion for Habesha clothing around the world. The word ZEMEN means “Era” or “Time” in Amharic evoking a new, fresh and fashionably conscious brand. The woven fabric is called a "habesha kemis" which is made by cotton that is woven together into long strips.
