Walking Into 56 With Gratitude ❤️✨
I’m walking into my 56th year on the 24th of August with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and an overwhelming appreciation for this beautiful, complicated, extraordinary journey called life.
Looking at this picture, I believe I was about 23 years old—and honey, you couldn’t tell me NOTHING! 😂 I thought I was fabulous, fierce, and giving everything I was supposed to give. While the girls were giving Lee Press-Ons, I was giving you a French manicure deluxe! 💅🏽😂
But beyond the laughs and the memories, this picture reminds me just how far I’ve come. Life has tested me, shaped me, humbled me, and taught me that perseverance is one of the greatest gifts we can possess. Through every high and every low, I kept moving forward—and today, I’m more grateful than ever for the person I’ve become.
At 56, I’m not looking backward with regret. I’m looking back with love, gratitude, and appreciation for every chapter, every lesson, every friendship, every blessing, and every person who helped make the journey meaningful.
