Welcome new Board Member: Rachael Staudt

Rachael is a multiple media artist and the founder of Project Squeeble, which combines her love for creating monsters with her support for sustainability of all kinds. She is also working to create a community space for artists at her studio space in Sausalito.

Rachael grew up with an arts-focused childhood, but in her adulthood has broadened her analytical and business skills by acquiring a BS in Applied Mathematics, and then attending the Presidio Graduate School for a dual MBA and MPA.

Rachael is delighted to be a member of the Art Works Downtown board and is excited to support their mission of creating a sustainable environment in Marin where artists can thrive.

Recently had a Squeeble moment while cooking. Honestly they are everywhere for me. Should I make this guy? 🍋👹
It’s been awhile since I posted, hope everyone is upright and staying sane. We will get through this 2020!
There will be a future on the other side, and it will have Squeebles!

Added headbands in support of the movement. The gallery is open again for business, wander in if you find yourself in north mission. Observing masks and social distancing ordinances.

I feel like the luckiest artist out there! Thank you to my buddies Nick and Monica at for working with Doug and I to create the most gorgeous Manzanita Squeeble Sculpture! I have spent several afternoons just taking in how perfect it feels in this space. The shape, the curve of the legs, the moss you left in for me, the GOLD everywhere. You were inspired to create a piece that fits with and I think you nailed it!!! I feel so grateful and honored to have you in our home.

How cool is that?! Artists working together and inspired by one another, thank you Waldorf education.
I love you guys and everything you make. Thank you for representing shadow and beauty in this challenging world. Let us carry the Art torch and continue to light the path of our humanity.

Come join me Saturday at Marin Sanitary Services! The Squeebles will be out in full force for a fun and educational afternoon. The holidays are quickly approaching and the Squeebles will have their (multiple eyes) open for potential forever homes.
