I know, I know. “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

But some days are harder than most to remember that. Comparing my business to someone else’s. My motherhood journey. Even little parts of my life.

And the thing is … I ✨know✨ that someone else’s success doesn’t mean I’m failing. Someone else’s timeline doesn’t mean I’m behind. Someone else’s good day doesn’t take away from the good things happening in my own life.

I’m still learning to celebrate other people’s wins without using their success as a measuring stick for my own. To be proud of what I’m building, even when progress feels slow. In all aspects of life.

My goal isn’t to have the biggest business, the most orders, or the most followers. It’s to build something that I’m proud of that allows me to show up for my family, too. ❤️ The last thing I want is for Nora’s earliest memories of me … is me at my machine. Not playing with her. Not helping her learn. Not helping her make her small wins.

So .. if you’re in a season of feeling a little behind, a little discouraged, or like everyone else has it figured out except you … maybe we both need a little reminder. 🫶🏻

We’re allowed to be happy for other people AND still be working on our own happiness.

Traffic is moving SLOW (4-5mph), but still moving just before the Milton exit going westbound on I-64!

Just got off the interstate & saw that it was a small wreck causing the traffic. Everyone looked to be okay!

🚔 Police are trying to block off the right lane because of it, so stick to the left lane.

When you are happy with your picture’s angle, lighting, etc…

Then you realize (after it’s out of the hoop) that you forgot to use your iron to get rid of the red heat erasable pen mark. 🙃 It allows me to know I have my design centered on my crew once I have the hoop on my machine.

It’s fine. Totally cool. Barely noticeable.

But I notice it. 🔴

Making up for time lost last week! I lost at least 15 hours of work time with Nora being sick, so I’m working real hard today to catch up. And I’m ignoring the scratchy throat I now have. It’s fine. Everything is fine. 🙃
