I, Patrice Michelle Quarles, was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, on February 22nd, 1959. Being both Native American and African American, hair has always been something I had to spend extra time taking care of due to the fragility of my hair type. I have worn braids and twists all my life while sleeping on satin pillowcases for over 40 years as a way to protect my hair. I came up with the idea to cre
