A woman in her 30s came into my shop recently who had been wearing bras from a certain very pink store since high school.
And somewhere along the way, she started living in sports bras.
Not because she was training for anything.
Because her regular bras were uncomfortable.
Too much padding. Too much going on. Sparkly straps. Spilling out. And by the end of a long day, her breasts actually hurt.
Ladies.
Your bra is not supposed to hurt you.
You are also not supposed to spend your day negotiating with it, pulling it back into place, or counting the minutes until you can take it off.
She told me what was happening.
I put her in the right size on the first try.
She did not want to take the bra off.
That is what a properly fitted bra can feel like.
Supportive. Comfortable. Secure. Everything where it belongs. No spilling out. No adjusting. No dramatic removal the second you walk through the door.
And then she did something rather decisive.
She closed a certain pink credit card.

I would say that fitting went rather well.
