My name is Miata, and I am the founder of . In 2014, I wanted to write a book that would capture stories about things that people have done for love. Being a hopeless romantic, I was the poster child of "doing things for love", and I was never ashamed to admit it. I designed my first T-shirt to give to anyone willing to share their story. Unfortunately, the book project never picked
up, I was super busy with school and being a mom to an amazing 6 year old. After giving away sample of the T-shirts to family and friends, I received numerous inquiries about purchasing the T-shirts. A few weeks after I started selling , my daughter, Saharah asked if she design T-shirts for kids, at 6, she became my business partner!
“I did it for Love” as the name depicts, is a community of people that believe "love gives!" Our apparels are an extension of our original idea, which centers around telling our stories about things that we have done for love. Every time you wear one of our apparel, you are almost guaranteed to be asked, "what have you done for love?" We hope that you would take the time to share your story! Our stories allow others to get a glimpse of part of who we are. Stories of love are compelling because we all want to love and be loved.
