Meet Your Trendsetters!
Hello lovelies! My name is Sara Kutz-Yeager and my preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. I am from Cut Bank Montana, but originally from near Philadelphia. I also lived in Havre MT for a bit in high school. I am a junior at UM in the BFA Acting program and am minoring in Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies. This is my third year in Trendsetters, I’ve been involved since my first semester at the University. Currently, my campus involvement is Trendsetters and a group called Compassion in Action, which focuses on mindfulness, Buddist techniques, and serving others. I am also a part of LAMBDA, which is an LGBTQ+ group on campus and recently became their secretary/social media coordinator. I also work at the UM Arts Box Office but am taking the semester off from work to focus on my health. I am so thankful for Trendsetters for giving me the confidence to recently pursue modeling. In my free time, I love creating art; whether it be acting, singing, modeling, embroidery, doing fun makeup, or painting. I also love to bake, take care of the almost 100 plants in my apartment, work towards living more sustainably and hang out with my service dog and boyfriend. I originally joined Trendsetters because I knew a lot of people in it and I thought it would be a wonderful experience to connect with other creative people and express myself. I have stayed in Trendsetters for three years because of the amazing friendships I have made and the opportunity to create art with others and discuss fashion. If I had all the money in the world, I would constantly dress in cottagecore/fairycore attire and frolic around picking flowers. I love soft, dreamy vibes and flowy dresses. I worked at a camp for a few summers and some of my favorite quotes are from songs we sang with campers. One that’s been recently resonating with me is “give us good courage, not knowing where we go…”
