We see quotes like this and mistake pain for passion. We’ve been conditioned to believe that if love doesn’t leave a scar, it wasn’t deep enough. That if we aren't suffering, we aren't really feeling.

But who wrote that script?

We let the world dictate how we move. We perform "love" based on old movies and sad songs, measuring our devotion by how much we can endure, rather than how much we can grow. We normalize the hurt because we’re afraid of the quiet that comes with healthy love.
Real connection isn't about performing a tragedy for an audience. It’s about rewriting the narrative. Love shouldn't be a test of endurance. 🥀

Stop letting society dictate your movements. Passion doesn't have to equal pain, and struggle isn't a requirement for depth. Don't bleed just because they told you it makes the love real.
