Join us this evening from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in Downtown Canby for the City of Canby’s biggest and best Touch-A-Truck event yet!

Bring the whole family to Canby City Hall (222 NE 2nd Avenue) for a hands-on opportunity to explore the vehicles that help keep our community running every day. Climb aboard fire engines, police vehicles, utility trucks, transit buses, heavy equipment, and more while meeting the dedicated people who operate them.

It was a great day⭐️

I finished zero projects, ran out of hangers, realized that kids clothes are not meant for regular sized hangers, nothing got steamed or tagged. I made more of a mess than I’d planned on and it’s all fabulous because I spent my day visiting & chatting and then I looked at the clock and it was 45 mins AFTER I was scheduled to close! Back at it tomorrow at 11am

I’m headed into my 9th summer season with The She Shed Boutique!! That’s 9 solo summers, zero employees and a wealth of amazing connections and unbelievably supportive loyal customers💕

I decided to kick-off this summer season with a shared “beginnings” story! This boutique has evolved, reset, pivoted and grown over the years and will continue as long as I still love it. Knowing who you are doing business with matters today because the choices are many and to me, connection is everything! When you walk into my store just know, that you are greeted by me and every single item on the shelves and the racks and displays were chosen by me. I made a decision 9 years ago, a couple months after my dad died, that I needed to create something and pour all of myself in to it. I didn’t have AI to ask the questions to, I didn’t have a successful store around the corner to take inspiration from, I didn’t have anyone collecting labels for me to make my buying choices lazy and easy. I set out to buy what I loved without a style in mind and things just organically came together. I never wanted to be a part of echo chamber commerce or business practices. I believe that opportunities are earned and loyalty is not blindly given. Helping other businesses grow & be seen over the years sometimes comes with a cost but for me personally, it’s part of who I am and I would not operate any other way! And today, 9 summer seasons later, the people and businesses that shared and celebrated me from the beginning, these are still my people. Some moved, some businesses closed but my loyalty & gratitude is an always thing💕. For those that have been around for awhile, THANK YOU. For those that haven’t, I look forward to meeting you and sharing my space with you! Cheers to the Summer of 2026!!!
