is “caring through clothing” and our vision is “uniting a community by clothing those in need”. While the permanent free clothing closet will be hosted at the Church of the Nazarene in Monroe, this is a service that is available to individuals in Green County and the surrounding areas. This is a free service that anyone can take advantage of and is dependent upon donations from individuals and org

anizations in the community. Our goal is to have clothing items available for all ages as well as a limited selection of personal hygiene products. Without the generosity of our local volunteers and organizations, this idea would still be just that. We have an ongoing need for volunteers who can help us sort and tag items as well as staffing the community closet when we’re open. If you have the opportunity to give back, we hope you will consider the Monroe Area Community Closet when looking for ways to benefit our community.
