There are call makers… and then there are call makers who create art.

Our good friend Josh, owner of J O S H R A G G I O , falls into that second category.

Every call that comes out of his shop is built to do exactly what it’s supposed to do, work ducks. But at the same time, the craftsmanship, detail, and passion that go into each one make them so much more than just another call hanging on a lanyard. They’re functional pieces of art. The kind of calls you hunt with, make memories with, and one day pass down.

One of the coolest things about this small world of waterfowl is where it takes you and, more importantly, who it introduces you to.

We’ve been fortunate to meet a lot of cool people in this industry that do some really cool things, and Josh is one of those people.

The story behind Bottomland is pretty damn cool.

These guys started out doing it on their own making music, chasing something they believed in, and figuring it out as they went. Fast forward and that grind eventually caught the attention of Sony.

That doesn’t just happen.

We’ve always got a lot of respect for people who bet on themselves, put the work in, and keep pushing until somebody has no choice but to pay attention. Bottomland is a perfect example of that.

Good dudes, damn good music, and a story that’s only getting started.

We had a hell of a time sitting down with the Bottomland boys and hearing how it all came together.

Welcome to Silly Goose Sloughs!

As most of you probably know we have been hunting public our whole life! We cut our teeth on Arkansas and Oklahoma timber! Since the beginning of QS we have created opportunities for not only us an our friends and family, but several of our followers to hunt some of the best private ground in North America! In the past 6 years we have hunted everything from the best public to the most beautiful private ground available!

Last year we had the opportunity to pick up some great ground here in Texas. Undeveloped, unrefined but produces birds and great times!

We are creating a place that we can learn from, build from the ground up. A place we can teach our kids and a place we can bring out our podcast guests to give them an experience not just another episode.

Year one was a blessing, but with hard work, time and consistency hopefully we can build a place that that lasts forever.
