Kiddo Bear Creations began at the end of the 2021-2022 school year when Logan brought home a flier from school to join FFA (Future Farmers of America) and raise a project animal for the next school year. Logan, being the big hearted little boy he is, jumped at the opportunity and wanted to commit to raising a bull to show at the Pineywoods Fair in October. Mom & Dad, being more practical but still
wanting to support his big dreams, talked Logan down to raising a bunny. Logan signed up for FFA for the 2022-2023 school year and Mom had a discussion with the Agriculture teacher at his school. With the costs of purchasing the rabbit kits and supplies racking up, Mom and Dad told Logan to go out and get a job. Logan said, "OK!" and got to work brainstorming ideas on how to make money for his bunnies. After having some summer fun with tie dying shirts with Mom and his brother Emohn, Logan said he could make and sell shirts to make money for his bunnies. Emohn, a little sad that he's too young to join FFA and raise a project animal too (he's in 2nd grade and you need to be in 3rd grade), asked to help so he could get a jump start on raising money for his animals next school year. Mom agreed and Kiddo Bear Creations was born. Mom and Dad invested some of Dad's cash, the boys chipped in some savings from birthday money and allowance, and an initial round of supplies was purchased and shirts were dyed. All of the proceeds from the sale of these shirts will be split between the two boys to be used for the purchase and care of their FFA project animals for the 2022-2023 school year for Logan and later for the 2023-2024 school year for both Logan and Emohn. To follow our journey, find us on Facebook at Kiddo Bear Creations! We will be posting information, pictures, and videos of the dying process and care of the rabbits when they arrive. Hoppy shopping!
