Designers, co-founders and Nashville natives - Jeremy and Susannah - met while building a house in Haiti during college. Their paralleled interests in serving others, travel and nonconformity would lead them to venture all over Southeast Asia. The idea for a sustainable product that could benefit the community, consumers and the artisans alike had been cultivated ever since Susannah returned from

Southeast Asia in 2012. Our mission is simple: To break the chain of fast fashion by creating a sustainable, quality product - coupled with the desire to serve our local and international communities. Today's fashion industry relies heavily on mass production, large corporations and retailers selling products at low prices. Unfortunately this over consumption comes with a hidden price tag - where the environment and workers in the supply chain are the ones who pay. At CEMENT6, we work directly with artisans in Cambodia to design and create your one of a kind product. We do not believe in speed, mass production or low wages. CEMENT6 also stands as a business that serves. The GIVE6 concept represents the six different philanthropic, sustainable and economic impacts we aim to have within the villages where the product is created as well as our local communities. We’ve been a little radio silent lately. Not because we disappeared, but because life showed up loud. Ice storms, power outages, saying goodbye to our dog, and a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

Spring markets are being prepped, online and wholesale orders are rolling out, and our spring launch is very much in motion. This photo pretty much sums it up. Small human, big bags, still moving forward.

Thanks for giving us a little grace while we do the work instead of talk about the work.
