After much consideration I've decided to not continue a path with A;ware. My initial goal was always to raise awareness for mental health and su***de prevention. At the same time I wanted to start a business that could help replace my 9-5. The more I've thought about it the more I have realized that it doesn't feel like the right path for me to raise awareness for a good cause and also try to make a living from it. Intention and perception are not always the same.
I've enjoyed this venture to help raise awareness of mental health and I am grateful for the people I have met and stories shared. Unfortunately at this stage in my life I can not give it 100% like I wish I could.
I greatly appreciate everyone's support with A;ware and positive encouragement and I hope that the message has helped people who could receive it. It's a message I still believe in and I hope it inspires others to be more open about conversation surrounding mental health and su***de prevention. Appreciate y'all 💚. -Just some things I wanted to get off my chest.
For those who would like to benefit a cause that aligns with this positive message, I encourage you to visit hesedplace.com , a local nonprofit focused on providing complex trauma survivors the resources needed during their healing journey. They are an amazing group of people with an amazing mission.
