Join Chicago artist Leftyoutthere and Kyle Vvis in a pivotal show this spring in Los Angeles, CA for an inside look at an artist’s studio. Featuring two friends with their own unique styles, immerse yourselves in the space where the unique pieces on display were created. Both Lefty and Kyle have cast their marks in city after city, leaving each surface and medium covered in their wake. Through shifting moments of their meditative process, their works explore variations of technique through form, contrast, and repetition. Unapologetically leaving layers of marks within the Fine Art realm and the streets.
Lefty () is a Chicago based artist with a career that has taken his patterns across the world. Refining his artistry for nearly a decade, Lefty is now known for his intricate pattern work, contemporary aesthetic and attention to detail.
Getting his start in graffiti, Lefty’s work since has expanded off the streets and into fashion, furniture, installations, photography, projections, graphic design and designed objects.The intention is to cover everything.
Gallery Owner, Director, and Producer are a few of the many feathered hats worn by Visual Artist Kyle Vvis. Originally from the Midwest, Kyle now produces much of his work from Los Angeles. His current body of work delves into the symbiotic resonance between extremes found in neoclassicism and digital exploitation. Admittedly, beyond the seemingly timeless seduction of his use of charcoal and bodies, there is an unavoidably ironic glance into sexualization woven throughout culture.
