With the 50th anniversary of the 1977 original next year, I sourced screen accurate Luke Skywalker ANH tunic fabric in the correct color, weave, weight, and fiber content as the original. This fabric was also used for Han Solo's ANH shirt, only dyed a golden beige color.

I've been looking for this fabric for 26 years and the search is finally over!

I can get the remaining stock via a PRE-ORDER in the shop but in order to do this we need 10 or 11 people on board, assuming everyone orders 5 yards, otherwise it won't happen!

Price will be $25.00 a yard plus shipping fees due once the material is in hand. On average you would need 5 to 6 yards for a Luke Tunic and 3 to 4 for a Han shirt.

The following photos are of the fabric I received yesterday for my personal costume. This is the real deal and I won't be able to get more.

With the 50th anniversary of the original Star Wars fast approaching next year, is there any interest in screen accurate Luke Skywalker and Han Solo shirt fabric? For the uninitiated, the same material was used for both costumes, just in different colors for the 1977 film.

A sample swatch arrived in the mail yesterday and it's exactly right for Luke. With some dye it will be perfect for Han.

If the demand warrants it I can set up a pre-order run to buy the entire stock available which would make it far cheaper for everyone. This project will only move forward if enough people get on board.
