Hey everyone ! It’s been a rough few months for my family and my shop ! Unfortunately I have to go back to work as a dental assistant instead of sewing full time . I will still take a small amounts of order a month because I truly love sewing , but it will have to be ordered through message/comments instead of the website . so if your little one needs something special just message me and I’ll get something made for them . Hey just wanted to thank everyone for the kind calls and messages about my grandmother passing away . I wouldn’t be able to sew if it wasn’t for this wonderful woman . Most of the time when someone passes people don’t need to know your story to understand how much you will miss that person and not many people know my full story . But to say I will miss my Memaw is a understatement . Since I was born she has taken me in . I’ve lived with her more times then I could count. She was more then grandma. She was my safe haven , she was home , and my strength .Ive moved so many times in my life never having a permanent home , but my grandma was permanent. I took for granted time thinking I always had enough time to visit. now once again in life, times has escaped me and I was too late to tell her goodbye. She always worried about me and wanted me to be safe . When I became older and independent I tried to show her I was safe now and there was nothing to worry about but then I got pregnant 😆😌 and realized once your a mom you never stop worrying . 😂 my children Are too young to remember her and that saddens me because she was a saint. I’m going to miss everything about her and I have so many great memories that I cant list them all . She taught me so much from life lessons to sewing and I wouldn’t be who I am without her . My daddy use to call me rocky cause I was his “steady/rock” the person to keep him on the right track . Well my Memaw was my rock and I’m very very sad she is no longer here . I wrote in Emily’s journal about her great grandma and how she has her blue eyes and nose and how she is named after her . One day she’ll read it and know how special her Memaw was .
