I think it’s absolutely fitting that
I’m working on two custom umbrellas today. They are for the Bio Innovation Center of New Orleans. They concentrate on the healing of the brain.
I’m cutting out their logo out of their swag bags and including these little pink brains that are gonna hang from the ends of the ribs.
I feel honored to be working on this project to recognize individuals who focus all their talents on healing of the brain - this project is dedicated to Ron Egbert, my father-in-law who is in the hospital fighting for his life with a brain bleed today.

“Collecting” is a passion of mine and as time goes on, I collect pieces of umbrellas, fabric and trims. I’m getting ready to do this new bridal umbrella set on 1940-1950’s frames. I’m picking out which tips I wanna attach. Should I go White or Amber? I’m making two incredible bridal umbrellas for this couple for Sept 2025.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to hand make this beautiful red pagoda umbrella for Jenna Ortega while she was doing touring for new Beetlejuice movie. I have the umbrella back now and I’m excited to put it on the market so one lucky person will have a little piece of Jenna‘s red gown extravaganza !!
