thought it would be fun to share the first piece of clothing i ever designed. i made this for myself tracing a pattern on newsprint and sewing it basically to fit my body without much training or know-how. i've learned so much as a designer since then!
i might run an experiment of designing one-off pieces and releasing them here just as a creative exercise. the excitement of using remnant fabrics and designing in a more simple, direct way without an eye towards sizing and production feels like an exciting adventure to fuel the next release of designs into production.
