This loose-fit brocade jacket reinterprets the Vogue Patterns V9307 silhouette (designed by Júlio César) through a contemporary, artisanal lens. Its rich color-blocked brocade is accented by a horizontal zigzag motif meticulously worked in acrylic yarn, creating a graphic, tactile contrast. Hand-made origami buttonholes add an unexpected sculptural detail, highlighting the craftsmanship and individuality of the piece. The result is a sophisticated fusion of pattern-making, textile art, and modern fashion design. Beautifully worn by Fernanda.

LIA DE ITAMARACÁ

Lia de Itamaracá is a celebrated Brazilian singer and one of the most iconic voices of ciranda, a traditional musical and dance style from the Northeast of Brazil. Her artistry embodies the rhythm, warmth, and cultural heritage of Pernambuco, making her a powerful symbol of Brazilian popular culture. In this portrait, Lia’s vibrant presence is beautifully complemented by a flowing royal-blue dress, featuring voluminous sleeves and a striking Ankara wax print with geometric motifs in turquoise, purple, black, and white. The colorful hem, together with her layered jewelry and pink sequined headwrap, creates an elegant celebration of Brazilian identity, craftsmanship, and tradition. The dress becomes an extension of Lia herself—bold, joyful, graceful, and deeply connected to the cultural spirit she represents.
