In 2015, I left a 9 to 5 to build my event production and media business. I was eager and willing to put in the work, and it was all or nothing for me. One year later I was done; wiped out financially. I had depleted my savings. I had hit rock bottom and was looking for a way back up. What I did have left was a lot of potential and my faith. That’s when I really started trusting God. I knew that o
nly He could pull me out and when I surrendered to that trust, miracles began to happen. I built a serious relationship with a beautiful, dynamic woman who is now my wife. We created a gorgeous, smart, and overall amazing daughter together. I moved to Washington, DC, narrowly escaping COVID 19 ground zero. To be honest, leaving New York wasn’t my plan—it was God's. Now I am living a life that in the past seemed far-fetched. This all came about because I committed to trusting God and the process, even though I could not see where they were leading me. All of these events sparked a deeper realization that trust is missing within our culture. We don’t trust God enough to listen when he says to move. We don’t trust each other, so we can learn how to move together. We don’t trust ourselves and the greatness within us. We must learn to trust and be trustworthy in order to elevate. the goal is simply to inspire and promote trust.
