Melissa Oddo is a master seamstress, educator, and founder of Demelis Atelier, a Connecticut-based bridal alterations studio known for heirloom transformations and the signature Bridal Bomber™ jacket.

A graduate of and , Melissa brings a designer’s eye to every gown she touches. Her alterations and styling work have been featured in , The Knot, and Inside Weddings.

Her WEDucated® training program empowers bridal retailers and consultants through expert-led education. In 2019, she founded Stitched Collective, a global community for seamstresses and tailors. Stitched Collective has been recognized by NBC Connecticut and The New York Times for its messaging and impact as it works to elevate and preserve the sewing trades.

We’re honored to have Melissa’s expertise and perspective as we continue building technology that supports tailors, modernizes alterations, and restores value to craftsmanship at scale.
