Hello Friend,

After more than 40 wonderful years, I will be closing Granny-Made® at the end of this year.
This has not been an easy decision. Granny-Made® has been so much more than a store—it has been a community, built together with so many of you over the years. I am deeply grateful for the relationships, the memories, and the trust you’ve given me.

As I look toward this next chapter, I’ve been thinking about the future of the Granny-Made® name. Rather than simply closing the door, I would love to see the brand continue on—with someone who can carry it forward in a new and meaningful way.

Over the years, we also developed and sold a small line of cookie products, including our signature “Moon and Star Cookies®,” which were especially popular during the holidays. These were produced in limited quantities and often sold out, suggesting a larger opportunity for growth.
If you, or someone you know, might be interested in exploring this opportunity, I would truly appreciate you reaching out or passing this along. Serious inquiries are welcome.

Hello....
We sadly announce that we will no longer be making any more of our
Granny-Made® Sweaters and Hats.

Over the last 40 plus years we have rolled with the times. Wars, 9/11, financial meltdowns, covid, and now fascism. We re-invented our clothing mix. When we lost our lease we found a better store and a great landlord. For years we had our sweaters made in Peru and sold exclusively by us in our stores and online. We were early to the internet, but crushed by it and Amazon. We kept going through 40 years of ups and downs...continuing online. One woman has been designing and making our sweaters & hats for more than a quarter century, and it's time she retired her knitting machines for a long over due rest. Without you, Ruth Hornbein, we would have never gotten this far-Thank you.

With all that said, we will continue to offer the beautiful sweater and hat set that "Luba-Robert" graciously makes "one of" for us from her extensive collection. I will continue to offer Our Perennial favorite The ABC Wall Hangings. We haven't shut down, just adjusting again to the time.

ATTENTION: We had a website malfunction and lost all the data for our sale sweaters. We are slowly putting it all back together. You can shop and I'll send out an E-blast when it is fully fixed. Thanks for understanding. Wishing you all the Best,
