I love buying quality items and taking good care of them.

I don't usually dry clean for environmental and financial reasons, but I've found that using the gentle cycle and hanging items to dry works just fine. I'm not very handy, so I turn to professionals when it comes to mending and repair.

My goal is to wear each of my regular (non special event) items at least 30 times, and to keep my at under a dollar.

I don't really buy new things, and yet I still wrestle with these issues.

Fast fashion is hard for me too. Buying it extends an item's life cycle, but when people notice what you are wearing, you are promoting the brand. Of course, it's less obvious with fast fashion, but there are pieces that have become part of the fashion zietgeist, like *that* Zara dress, or items from the Target/designer capsule collections.
