We’ve pivoted our packaging plan multiple times over the years - trying to find the greenest and cleanest. Some successful and some not so much…. 2007-2010: The first Pretty Pushers packaging was a recycled cardboard box with a PET plastic window revealing our cotton gown and some fun toiletries like lip gloss and a cayenne - infused massage oil. 2011-2013: Stripped down to just the gown, a paper label with no plastic sleeve, but shipped in plastic bubble mailers 2014-2015: trading the plastic bubble mailer for padded paper envelopes 🤯 2016-2020: adding sealed polybags helped avoid dust but boosted plastic waste 2021-2023: reverted back to kraft paper packaging 2024: sealed polybag sleeve nestled in a corrugated cardboard mailer protects the product Currently: sourcing a polybag alternative so that both our product and its packaging are clean and plastic-free

It’s baby shower season! We have so many colors and styles of our laborgowns for you to give the pregnant women in your life! A lot of mental preparation goes into childbirth and wearing what you want and what makes you feel beautiful and powerful can be part of it too.

Six years ago today, daughter number 5 (but baby 7) made her reluctant way into the world. My first and only baby born with an angel kiss, and it still shows up when she’s anxious or finds something extremely funny- speaking of funny, she had the best manic giggle. I was so glad she was born healthy as I had an acute and sudden attack of Pleurisy when I was at 11 weeks along with her and had to go to the ER.
