45 Years of Marriage!

I was inspired by and wanted to close out black history month with a celebration of black love!

This is Mr. & Mrs Bailey , my husband’s dearly departed grandparents.

Lesson: A SOLID foundation is a must! Hubby often talked about how they demonstrated a union built on a foundation of love, trust, grace and faith. With all of the above your union can endure all things.

This is definitely the union we’ve tried to create for ourselves.

Do we really know the true meaning of this phrase?

This is a phrase that’s used in a lot of Christian wedding ceremonies. Meaning the commitment to ones union.

Let’s start reintroducing this to our marriages. Yes marriage is hard work. Let’s stick it out and practice giving the grace we’d want to receive . Lead with love! 💜🙏🏾

I was inspired by and wanted to close out black history month with a celebration of black love!

As a child, I grew up surrounded by great examples of true love. As a married woman, I often emulate these examples. Today we’ll be posting couples who have inspired me and demonstrated the definition of true love!

This is Mr. & Mrs Gohagen, my dearly departed grandparents.
