As a recognized authority on fashion, Kimberley Ashley has been a skilled haute couture designer for over twenty years. She has owned and designed her own couture signature line, outfitting socialites and celebrities via private trunk shows in New York, Beverly Hills and Scottsdale. An accomplished artist, the designers abilities span a broad range of expertise – including women's and men’s haute couture, sportswear, haute jewelry, accessories design, textile fabrication and textile print design. An experienced public speaker, she has conducted over 300 fashion lectures, taught fashion design at college level (while consecutively operating her design business) and has been featured as a fashion show commentator. Recognized for her design abilities at the age of 16, she was honored with an invitation by a sponsor to apprentice at Christian Dior in Paris. Kimberley studied fashion design arts and technologies at UCLA and LA Trade Tech College. Growing up in the entertainment industry, Kimberley studied and designed stage costumes while touring with her show business family who performed with a plethora of famed entertainers. Moving to New York in 1999, Kimberley expanded her business scope to include the creation of fashion-related joint ventures, and the development of products and intellectual properties in the beauty and entertainments arts. The designer founded The Ashley-Travilla Foundation for Fashion. Calling both Scottsdale and New York home, she considers herself a Global Citizen.
