📓New York Public Schools in the 90s were something special. Whenever I see this artfully crafted door k**b, it always transports me back in time. To composition notebooks, trapper keepers, transforming pencil cases, the Oregon Trail, the list goes on….

Installed mostly between 1896 and the 1920s, these oval-shaped, highly detailed k**bs were a famous symbol of the city’s Progressive Era commitment to public education and grand civic architecture.

The Product of a NYC Public School Heavyweight Zip Hoodie pays homage to those details we grew up around without ever thinking twice about them. These small pieces of architecture became part of the visual language and experience of a New York education.

⚾️🧢 The Subway Series has been part of New York baseball for more than a century, born from the idea that two hometown teams could battle for bragging rights with nothing but a subway ride separating them.

Here we are more than 100 years later, bringing our city together for another chapter. This one holds an especially meaningful place in New York history, as the Mets and Yankees meet on September 11 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. On a day that reminds us of everything this city has endured, two rivals come together to represent something bigger than baseball.

Our Subway Series Reversible Hat is a wearable piece of that history. Mets on one side. Yankees on the other. A reflection of the duality, competitive spirit and camaraderie of our city. We can argue over who runs New York, but at the end of the day, we all wear the same city across our chest.

New York vs. New York. New York for New York. New York Forever.

⚾️🧢🔄 Our NY Hometown Logo Subway Series - Reversible Hat is officially back in stock, and it only felt right that the first one went to Darryl Strawberry.

Strawberry is one of two players in all of baseball history to win a championship on both sides of New York, with the Mets in 1986 and later with the Yankees. That makes getting his blessing on a hat built around both teams feel especially iconic. One side Mets inspired. One side Yankees inspired. Two rivalries, one city, and a New York legend who actually lived both sides of it.
