Whether it’s performing with pop-stars, modeling with supermodels, interviewing celebrities or building his own fan base online, the multi-talented “down under” dynamo, Daniel Garofali, is a master of his own brand. Growing up in the idyllic suburbs of Sydney, Australia in the 90’s, Garofali attended the prestigious McDonald Collage of Performing Arts - a specialist academic and performing arts sc
hool for gifted children - training in the art of acting, dancing and singing with other notable Australian alumni. During this time, Garofali began his professional career in the entertainment business, starting with national tours of Australian's finest pop stars as a Professional Dancer. Garofali has performed on international stages in live performances with Kylie Minogue, Duffy, and Jessica Mauboy to name a few, on shows such as So You Think You Can Dance Australia, The MTV Video Music Awards, Australia's Next Top Model and more. Since then, Daniel’s swoon-worthy physique and chiseled features have featured in many international campaigns, editorials, TV Commercials and being included in Cleo Magazine’s Top 50 Bachelors of Australia. It wasn’t until a chance meeting whist on holidays in the US in 2010 that led to Garofali signing with New York agency Wilhelmina Models prompting him to relocated to the Big Apple in 2011. While continuing his Modeling career, Garofali began freelance writing and contributing for publications such as The Huffington Post (US) and The Advocate, placing him on the red carpets to report on New York’s most gala philanthropic events such as amfAR & Jeffrey Fashion Cares interviewing celebrities such as Hilary Swank. Daniel has built a reputation for being digitally shrewd, optimizing social media and technology to grow his personal brand. Fans can buy calendars, DVDs, and iconic shirts emblazoned with his face and body from his online store building his cult status as an icon. This take-charge approach to his modeling career trajectory has earned this digital desperado to being labelled “the World’s First Social Media Supermodel”.
“Daniel Garofali one of the hardest working models we know. ‘The world’s first social media supermodel’ made a brand of himself and he is considered to be a mega celeb and role-model for many young dreamers who come to New York City to fulfill their dreams.”
Adon Magazine 2013
“Australia’s Daniel Garofali is just about the hardest-working model in the business. Whether he’s modeling, dancing in video clips, filming abroad with a pop artist or grabbing attention as one of Cleo’s 50 Eligible Bachelors, Daniel is constantly on the go. No wonder: he’s classically proportioned, chiseled, muscular and sexy.”
