My heart is so full right now ❤️

My beautiful daughter, just turned 27 ten days ago, and when I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said, “nothing… just to get engaged, but not on my birthday.”

Yesterday on their annual trip to Boston at Fenway Park, gave her the moment she had quietly hoped for and she said YES! 💍

There are moments in life you replay forever, and this is one of them. Seeing your child loved so deeply, so completely, by someone who truly values her is everything a parent could ever hope for.

I truly could not be happier for the two of them. Claire and Matt are such a wonderful couple; so deeply in love, so happy together, and so clearly meant for each other. Watching their relationship grow over the past 6 .5 years has been amazing.

Claire, I’m beyond proud of the woman you are, and I’m so excited for this next chapter for you both. Matt, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner for my girl. Thank you for loving her the way you do! ❤️

Congratulations to my sweet Claire and her fiancé Matt! Cheers to a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness together! I can’t wait for the wedding!! 🥂💍❤️👰🤵

What a special weekend for at the Gasparilla Invitational, the largest gymnastics meet in the country with over 4,000 gymnasts, held at the Tampa Convention Center!

This season has been a tough one for her! Mia has only been allowed to compete two events ( vault and floor) while working through a mental block on her series on beam and continuing to rebuild her bar routine. It’s been a longggg road, and she’s put in so much hard work behind the scenes.

This weekend at the FINAL meet of the regular season, she finally competed ALL FOUR events! Woo hoo! 🙌

On beam, she courageously went for her series in competition for the first time in a longggg time. She ended up falling on it, which she was so frustrated about because she hadn’t fallen on one all week in practice. But competing is different, and I couldn’t have been more proud of her for getting up there and going for it! 👏

On bars, which is still her struggle event & a big work in progress for her, she completed her full routine. It wasn’t her best, but she got through it & scored an 8.45! 👏

To qualify for States in the all-around she needed a 32 and she ended up scoring a 35.65! 👏

Placements:
Vault - 9.275 - 2nd 🥈(tied for 1st but lost the tiebreaker on all-around)
Bars- 8.45-5th
Beam (fall) - 8.65- 4th
Floor - 9.275- 3rd 🥉
AA- 35.65 -5th place

Her team also took 🥇 1st place! Way to go LaFleur’s Largo Gymnastics!! 🎊

I’m SO proud of the perseverance Mia has shown and how she’s worked through a really tough mental block this season. Watching her confidence come back and seeing her believe in herself again has definitely been the best part of it all!

She officially qualified for States in the all-around, and now we’re looking ahead to the State Championships at the end of March in Gainesville. Time to keep working hard and chasing that Regionals goal. Get it girl!! You can do it! 👊

So proud of you Mia! Keep working hard, believing in yourself & doing what you love! 😘 ❤️ 🤸‍♀️
