Last night was one of those full-circle moments.
A lifelong homie brought us out to The Dome with VIP love for J. Brown and October London, and they put on a real R&B show. J. Brown held the crowd down off pure talent and presence, and October London—“baby Marvin Gaye”—reminded everyone that real music still moves the soul.
The backstage love meant a lot… especially knowing Only at Renee’s is opening right around the corner and the whole area is buzzing with energy.
But honestly, the whole time I was watching that stage, I kept thinking about my daughter, Stonii. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I’m watching her headline her own show—right here and on stages around the world.
