So sorry to hear about the passing of His art, particularly his illustration work for the ad campaigns of since the 80s have been such an inspiration and perhaps the reason I became interested in graphics and fashion design. Thierry and I became “pen pals” when I was able to help him with scans of his work (that I collect since 1989) for a book he was preparing. Always nice and appreciative of me sharing my images but also apologetic cause he couldn’t always respond due to his heart condition that wanted to keep private. His work for Gaultier now decorates my studio: images that talk genius, dedication and hand skill: “the good old days of creating graphics” he said proudly on one of our emails. Rest in peace sir! Thank you for the beautiful art.
