Turns out 45 flags uses less fabric than you think if you know how to chaos quilt them. I guess it’s time to start thinking about the next batch? Especially because I didn’t get to all the flags this time.

Not me thinking I would make a way bigger dent in my scrap stash than I actually did 😅 I guess I should start a next batch of flags?

Pride isn’t just the month we crawl out of our rainbow lairs and spray glitter every time we open our mouths. It’s the time to celebrate our wins in a world that constantly represses individuality. It’s where we get to live loud in honor of those who can’t. It’s a spotlight shone on the sacrifices of or elders and those fighting to make a difference today.

There’s a first time for everything and this is the first time I’ve needed to do surgery on a stamp. Don’t carve stamps tired, kids, you’ll make a silly mistake that awake you never would have made.
Turns out works great for reattaching stamps… can’t wait to see how this holds up!

I’ve been getting more questions about how I made my dress last year- it started with the fabric, then the pattern, then a million fittings, then I cut it out, and then a week before the wedding I decided it needed ✨more sparkle✨ and hand sewed a bunch of beads and vintage rhinestones to the bodice and then it was perfect. Easy peasy.

We had a great time meeting you all and chatting at the open air market yesterday in Dunellen NJ! We had some great ideas dropped in our ✨suggestion box✨ for new stamps (and Pride is right around the corner…) so be sure to check out the new ones next time.
