Barton has been at the center of a number of the industry defining moments over the last twenty years. As president of Oliver Peoples (2002 -2006) Barton was instrumental in building the company and taking it from a 13 million dollar company to a 43 million dollar company. Barton was an integral part in the growth of Optical Shop of Aspen, having been with OSA since 1984; Barton launched their wholesale sector in 1988. Barton held the position of President of OSA from 1990 to 2001. Barton brings his infinite knowledge of the luxury eyewear market to his shared namesake brand. ABOUT PATTY PERREIRA
Designer, Patty Perreira began here career at Oliver Peoples where her passion for design grew. During her tenure, Perreira built a vast body of experience and developed her unique viewpoint. Perreira is often called upon by design houses to consult on their eyewear collection, and her Midas approach has been present in the eyewear collections of Paul Smith, Prada, Miu Miu, Jil Sander, Helmut Lang, and Vera Wang. Most recently Perreira collaborated with Barney’s to recreate esteemed director Albert Maysles iconic frames. As well as, Chloë Sevigny and Opening Ceremony to create a collection of sunglasses inspired by the revolutionary Andy Warhol ingénue, Candy Darling for SS 11. Perreira’s ever-evolving body of knowledge and focused vision has garnered her both national and international acclaim. Perreira’s designs have graced the faces of, a veritable “Who’s Who” list of Hollywood’s and the fashion industry’s most prominent faces.
