Born and raised in Argentina of Italian descent, Gustavo Cadile has always been inspired by his very eccentric European mother, Memeka. The seed of designing sensational, glamorous evening clothes was planted. Cadile made his first leap towards his dream of designing fine women’s clothing by moving to the United States and attending the International Fine Arts College in Miami Florida. After gradu

ating with honors a few years’ later Gustavo’s talents caught the eye of illustrious Prince Egon Von Furstenberg that led Mr. Cadile a position in his Parisian Atelier to design a Bridal collection, and an exclusive Alta Moda line in Rome. Cadile moved to New York in early 2007, and the eponymous Gustavo Cadile label was born. The rich collision of South American culture and European art of dressmaking collided into enormous success. Quickly recognized by the industry at large, Mr. Cadile was awarded The New Emerging Designer of 2007 at the Gold Coast Awards in Chicago, and was nominated for Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Award in both 2008 and 2009. Such celebrities as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angelica Huston, Alison Pill, Kate Walsh, Gina Rodriguez and January Jones among others have worn Cadile’s cocktail and evening gowns on the red carpet.
