Six Year Old Designer

He is 13 now and hasn't stopped creating. He spent three weeks custom designing and sewing this by hand for his sister. And, yes, the strawberry appliques on the dress and in her hair are hand painted.

Still at it. He is 12. He repurposed a Monster High doll by removing all of its distinguishing features and recreating the character to the right named Amethyst from a show called a Steven Universe. Yes, he removed and redrew all the paperwork. He removed the hair and recreated this hair with brushed yarn created as a removable wig.

I was going through some papers and came across some fashion designs from my six-Year Old Designer.

His latest design. The white rectangle is a skirt. The long thing that looks like a skirt over that rectangle is draped off the back of the skirt (like a cape). Then the skirt has the long shirt/dress over it.

He made this dress in his fashion class. The design is from the teachers but he chose the materials. Plus, notice the sizing skill. It fits me great! Just think of all the amazing making designs he has in his head!
